Miami-Dade, FL, United States (4E) – A total of seven people were injured in a New Year’s Day shooting in the Miami-Dade neighborhood of West Little River, three of whom are said to be teenagers.

According to reports, the shooting was on Sunday evening and the victims were all standing outside a home located at Northwest 81st Street and Northwest 14th Avenue at around 6 P.M. A car then pulled up at the home and someone from the vehicle started to open fire.

Miami-Dade police said in a statement that six of the seven shot were listed under stable condition. However, one of the teenagers, a 17-year-old, remains in critical condition. Their identities have not been released yet.

Detective Robin Pinkard with the Miami-Dade police said that they have not determined how the victims are related to each other and if they knew the attacker. It was presumed, however, that the victims gathered at the home to celebrate New Year’s Day.

It is believed that there is than one more suspect. The description of the suspects’ vehicle has not been released yet but they are interviewing witnesses and some of the victims in an attempt to find the perpetrators.
