Thetford Corporation recalls 4k Slide Out Lubricant due to chemical hazard

Ann Arbor, MI, United States (4E) – Thetford Corporation is recalling about 4200 units of Slide Out Lubricant due to chemical hazard

The firm says the product does not have proper hazard labeling required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

This improper labeling could result in unintentional exposure to these products and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

This recall involves Thetford Premium Slide Out lubricant with SKU 32777, and UPC code 028985327776.

The company has not received any report of incidents or injuries in Canada.

The recalled products were sold in Canada from Jan. 2010 to Nov. 2016. The product was manufactured in the United States.

The firm is advising consumers to stop using the recalled products and dispose of them according to Municipal Hazardous Waste Guidelines.
