North Carolina authorities find four people fatally shot at a home

Wilson County, NC, United States (4E) – North Carolina authorities have confirmed that four people were found dead inside a home and according to them, they died from apparent gunshot wounds.

The home is said to be located 50 miles east of Raleigh, North Carolina specifically at a residential area in Wilson County. Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Staff Wanda D. Samuel said that the victims were all the residents at the home where they were found. A family member was the one who discovered the crime on Saturday afternoon.

Those killed were identified as 54-year-old Tammy Lynette Pearce, 28-year-old Paul Shane Pearce, 47-year-old Selby Gene Outland , and 23-year-old Dominique Nicole Privette . The relationships of those who were killed were not revealed. It remains unclear who the suspect is or what the motive is in the crime.

Neighbors of the people killed at the home said that they are shocked since it happened at a very quiet neighbor. One of the neighbors, identified as Michael Taylor, said in a statement, “What could’ve happened? What could’ve made a person be so crazy to do some things like that. This is a good area. A very good area. Quiet. You don’t hear any bad things going on.”

Police are still investigating the matter. It is believed that it is an isolated incident.
