Chicken Products recalled in eight U.S states due to misbranding, undeclared allergens

Boise, ID, United States (4E) – Idaho based Mountain View packaging, LLC has issued a recall of 1,080 pounds of chicken products because the products contain wheat, egg and milk, known allergens which are not declared on the product label.

The product subject to this recall is 18-oz packages of ease Sweet Chili Chicken Meal Starter, Fully cooked, boneless, battered white meat chicken in a sweet chili sauce with a UPC code of 36800-38348.

The sweet chili chicken items were packaged on Dec. 23, 2016 and Dec. 30, 2016. They were sold to a distributor in Utah for further distribution in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The firm is advising consumers who have purchased these products not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
