Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have been co-parenting their children and continue to be in good terms after “consciously uncoupling” years ago and the actress said in a recent interview with InStyle that she hopes they have changed the culture of divorce for the better.

Paltrow graced the February 2017 issue of InStyle and she shared about how she thinks they have changed the culture of divorce. She noted, “I honestly think Chris and I have contributed something positive to the culture of divorce. To this day, Chris would take a bullet for me, even though I’m not his wife.” The two see each other every single day even if they already have their own new partners. Paltrow said that they have their own lives but they still have their family life to share.

This is not the first time that Paltrow talked about Martin and their divorce. In an interview with LinkedIn earlier this year, Paltrow said that if their divorce took place now instead of in 2014, she would not announce it on Goop, her lifestyle company. She shared, “It sort of wouldn’t be appropriate now. It is a much bigger business and I’m not sure it would be the right place to do something like that. I’m not sure.”

As for announcing it on Goop, Paltrow said that it was a difficult time in their life and she was trying to protect her children and her family as well as Martin. They were both fragile at that time and it felt like announcing it on Goop was the best and quietest way to do it. Just this July, Martin and Paltrow finalized their divorce.

Paltrow is now dating “Glee” co-creator Brad Falchuk . Paltrow said that Falchuk admires her divorce set-up with Martin. As for Martin, he was linked to Jennifer Lawrence and British actress Annabelle Wallis. It remains unclear who he is dating now.
