Irvine, CA, United States (NewsBahn) – Former USC and Los Angeles Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich was cited for trespassing, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, Irvine police commander Mike Hallinan told the Orange County Register Monday.
Marinovich , an Irvine resident, was reportedly in a backyard of a home and previously was seen naked on a jogging path in the neighborhood.
As a freshman USC signal-caller in 1989, he led the Trojans to a Rose Bowl win over Michigan.
Marinovich was then drafted in the first-round by the Raiders but went on become a huge bust due in part to drug issues.
He was trying to get his life together in recent years through the arts, but drug troubles apparently continued to short circuit the attempts.
