London, England, United Kingdom (4E) – Calvin Harris graced the cover of British GQ’s latest issue and in his cover interview, he talked about his split from Taylor Swift and how it has affected him.

Swift and Harris have been together for 15 months and Harris said that their break-up led to a media circus resulting in his private life being under the scrutiny of the public eye. He shared, “It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself.”

The 32-year-old said that when he and the 26-year-old singer were together romantically, they were very careful to keep their romance personal since he is not good at being a celebrity. He added that Swift respected his feelings regarding that issue of his.

He said that after the break-up, he felt like all hell broke loose and he laments his Twitter rant against Swift months ago. In the Twitter rant, Harris lambasted Swift regarding her claim that she co-wrote “This Is What You Came For.”

He shared about his Twitter meltdown, “It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled.” He added, “Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I’m a positive guy.”

As for the break-up, Harris said that it was wrong so they had to end it. He did not, however, give details about what he felt was wrong in the relationship.

Swift, on the other hand, moved on with Tom Hiddleston after her break-up from Harris. However, the two have reportedly called it quits after three months of dating.

Harris was recently spotted with Mexican actress and singer Eiza González . Sources are saying that there is nothing serious going on between the two as Harris is enjoying his single life and is going out with different women.
