Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – A professional dancer has been missing for days before his body was discovered in Azusa Canyon and the man linked to his death is set to be charged.

27-year-old professional dancer, Rahkeem “Rocky” Amani Reyes went missing last week.

Reyes vanishing was thought to be suspicious by his friends and family.

The suspect, 20-year-old Philip Von Wade, is being held on a $1 million bail linked to the murder case.

An investigation regarding Reyes’ whereabouts led police detectives and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies to work with the San Dimas Mountain Rescue team to a remote area where the body of the professional dancer was found. His body was discovered at around 10:15 A.M. on Saturday, which was six days after he was reported missing.

The West Covina Police Department has not yet commented on the matter and did not give details about how Reyes died. He was last seen Monday last week at around 5:40 P.M. Hours after, Reyes’ wallet and laptop were found inside his vehicle, which was unoccupied and was located at the 1500 block of Mcwood Street in West Covina.

The mother of Reyes, Dalia , said in a statement, “I know somebody saw something somewhere. Somebody knows something out there. Please, please, please. I beg everybody, please.”

Authorities also did not give details about the circumstances leading to the arrest of Wade. He is set to be arraigned in Pomona Superior Court on Monday.
